Turbinaria reniformis (frag)

Turbinaria spp., commonly known as Cup Corals or Scroll Corals, are LPS corals known for their distinctive plating, cup-shaped, or scroll-like growth forms. Colonies can develop layers of thin plates covered with small corallites, creating unique shapes and excellent texture in the reef aquarium. Colors range from green, yellow, and brown to orange and purple, with many varieties showing attractive fluorescent tones under blue or actinic lighting.

Care in Aquariums:
• Lighting: Moderate
• Flow: Moderate, indirect
• Placement: Mid to upper rockwork; allow space for plating growth
• Feeding: Benefits from occasional small meaty foods or fine particulate coral foods
