DJM Finest Sea Salt

Our salt has been analyzed and tested to ensure optimal quality, it is delicately processed to form fine salt particles and to allow equal distribution of all elements (dissolution appears much faster that way and with amazing results). The salt is enriched with Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium and Bicarbonates to accomodate the needs of your animals. It is a complete and balanced product for the experienced professional as well as the hobbyist.

Instructions : 

• First prepare a clean container with fresh water, then slowly pour the salt in
• Dissolve 35g per liter (3,5 kg per 100 liters, or 35 kg/m3) at 25°C and check the salinity. To obtain a salinity of S.G. 1.025 or 35 ppt, continue adding salt gram by gram, until the desired level has been reached.
• DO NOT EXCEED 40g per liter
• Avoid mixing with tap water because it contains levels of calcium
• Reverse osmosis or soft water is recommended to avoid exceeding calcium levels above 440 mg/l.
• Mix well until all salt is dissolved.
• Check to reinsure that the optimal salinity is reached.
• For better results allow 24 hours aeration before use.
