Favia spp. (Red)

Favia are hardy LPS corals known for their vibrant colors, ranging from greens and reds to blues and purples. Each colony forms a solid, dome-shaped or encrusting skeleton full of closely packed corallites, giving it a textured appearance. Favias are durable, adaptable, and thrive in a wide range of reef systems, making them excellent additions to any reef tank.

• Lighting: Moderate
• Water Flow: Moderate, indirect
• Placement: Lower to mid rockwork; allow room for nighttime sweeper tentacles
• Feeding: Accepts small meaty foods; feeding improves growth and color
