It can also be used in box, pressure and multi-chamber filters. Using the filter media will increase the effectiveness of the filter. Kaldnes filter media ensures a solid biofilm in the filter. This ensures a healthy living environment for your fish by means of the bacteria. When you take a closer look at the K1 micro, you will see that there is an adhesion surface of approximately 950 m2 on 1000 liters of pond water. With this you can even process 500 grams of fish food waste when you use 100 liters. Because the bacteria clean themselves, you have much less cleaning work and you have up to 4x more effective filter material than the well-known Japanese mat. You get the best result when you fill the chamber volume of your filter up to 65% with the filter material.
