Euphyllia paraancora (Orange-Pink) (Premium)

Euphyllia paraancora, commonly known as the Anchortree Coral, is a popular large polyp stony (LPS) coral in the reef aquarium hobby. It features distinctive hammer- or anchor-shaped tentacles and comes in various colors. It's moderately easy to care for, requiring moderate lighting and gentle to moderate water flow. Like other Euphyllia species, it can be aggressive, extending sweeper tentacles at night, so it should be placed with enough space from other corals. It's a favorite for both beginners and experienced reefkeepers due to its hardiness and striking appearance.

Care in Aquariums:

• Lighting: Low to Moderate.
• Water Flow: Low to Moderate.
• Placement: Middle to lower areas of the tank depending on lighting. Can extends sweeper tentacles at night that can sting nearby corals.
• Feeding: Photosynthetic via symbiotic zooxanthellae, but can also benefit from occasional feedings of meaty foods like mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, or coral-specific foods.
