Antennarius pictus, commonly known as the painted frogfish, is a frogfish with small black spots and can have many colors like green, yellow, white, red, brown, pink or even purple and has patches of different colors sometimes. It can slowly change color depending on the surroundings to blend in with the corals or sponges it hides between. This anglerfish also has an esca (lure) to attract preys.
Frogfish will eat anything that fit their mouth so don't combine them with shrimp or small fish or they may end up as food!
