Description

Ecsenius bimaculatus, commonly known as the Twinspot coralblenny, is a tiny blenny. Their base colour is see-through cream-white with two distinct horizontally elongated spots on the side and some spots and stripes on the face leading to the spots.

These fish are usually found solitary around sponges and tunicates. In an aquarium be sure to have rocks with small holes they can hide in before introducing them. In a large aquarium multiple blennies is possible as long as enough territories can be formed, but in a nano tank they can best be kept alone or as a proven pair. They feed mainly on zooplankton and can best be fed with live and frozen food like copepods, artemia and small gammarus, but usually will learn to feed on high quality flakes and pellets as well!
