Salarias segmentatus
Salarias segmentatus, commonly known as the Segmented blenny, is a medium-sized blenny. With their red-brown spots they can best be described as a more colourful version of the more well-known S. fasciatus.
They usually live solitary around or on dead corals in silty bays and lagoons where algae is plentiful. They can best be kept alone or as a mated pair. They feed mainly on algae and can best be fed with high quality algae flakes and pellets even if there is algae in the tank!
