Salarias guttatus
Salarias guttatus, commonly known as the One spot blenny, is a medium-sized blenny. It looks very similar to the more well-known S. fasciatus. S. guttatus is usually lighter in colour though and it has a very notable pink spot just below the head.
They usually live solitary around or on dead corals in silty bays and lagoons where algae is plentiful. They can best be kept alone or as a mated pair. They feed mainly on algae and can best be fed with high quality algae flakes and pellets even if there is algae in the tank!
