Ostorhinchus chrysopomus
Ostorhinchus chrysopomus, commonly known as the Spotted-gill cardinalfish, is a friendly schooling fish. It's common name mostly applies for adults. Juveniles don't have the orange spots on the gills yet, but do have more pronounced horizontal stripes. A feature that will faint a little when the fish gets older. They do love to hang around branching corals, so this fish would be a great addition to a large SPS tank.
Like most Apogonidae, they can be kept as a couple, but in our opinion they look far better when kept in a school.
