Description

Zoramia fragilis, commonly known as the Fragile cardinalfish, is a friendly schooling fish. At first sight you may think it's the more well known Z. leptacantha, but upon closer inspection you'll notice fragilis has a yellow eye instead of a blue eye and it posesses a black spot at the base of the caudal fin to confuse predators.

These are one of the few small schooling fish that always stay close together. Usually in a place with little flow and light, like beneath a montipora plate or overhanging rock and they come out when light is dimmed. An excellent beginners fish!
