Pseudochromis flavivertex
Pseudochromis flavivertex, commonly known as the Sunrise dottyback, is an easy to recognize dottyback. Their body is blue with a yellow to orange stripe over their back and a yellow caudal fin.
They're one of the friendlier Pseudochromis and can even be a little shy when other dominant fish are present. These fish can best be kept alone unless you find a proven pair and own a large tank. Although known for eating bristleworms, they only eat small ones, so they can help to keep a population small but won't do much once you've an outbreak of large worms. They are carnivores, so make sure to feed them a varied diet of meaty live and frozen food combined with good quality flakes and pellets.
