Bothus spp.
Bothus spp., are multiple unidentified species of flounders. Adult appearance and maximum size is mostly unknown, but keep the general information regarding flounders and sole in mind.
These fish are only suitable for an experienced aquarist with a decent sized tank with enough open space and a sand substrate thick enough for the flounder to burry himself in. Be careful combining them with anything that can fit their mouth and also be aware they can become aggressive to other bottom dwelling fishes. When young, they can be fed a variety of meaty foods, but once they mature they need to eat mainly salt water fish to really thrive!
