Acanthurus fowleri

Acanthurus fowleri, is a beautiful underrated tang which is commonly known as Fowler's surgeonfish. It has a mix of orange, red, blue and yellow and although it can grow quite large, it becomes more beautiful the older it gets. It can be aggressive towards other fish, especially other tangs and food competitors, but once it is settled in the tank it will usually poses no problem.

Like other tangs, it will eat meaty foods, but it's important it can graze on algae/seaweed the entire day to ensure it will stay healthy. So feed flakes/pellets multiple times a day and make sure there is always seaweed available.
