Acanthurus thompsoni
Acanthurus thompsoni, commonly known as Thompson's surgeonfish, is a medium-large surgeonfish which is quite common in nature but not often seen in the aquarium hobby. It can be aggressive towards other fish like tangs and food competitors, but this will reduce once settled.
This tang is found to eat large amounts of zooplankton, fish eggs and crustaceans in nature, but it's important it can graze on algae/seaweed the entire day to ensure it will stay healthy. So feed flakes/pellets multiple times a day and make sure there is always seaweed available.
