Ctenochaetus tominiensis

Ctenochaetus tominiensis, commonly known as the Tomini bristletooth tang, is one of the smallest tangs, which make it a very popular fish. It does however still need quite some swimming space and enough algae growth in the tank to make it thrive, so make sure not to house it too small. It can be aggressive towards other tangs and food competitors, but will generally leave other fish a lone and once established pose no harm. A great algae eater for a medium to large sized tank.

Like other tangs, it will eat meaty foods, but it's important it can graze on algae/seaweed the entire day to ensure it will stay healthy. So feed flakes/pellets multiple times a day and make sure there is always seaweed available.
