Prionurus laticlavius
Prionurus laticlavius, or the razor surgeonfish, is a large surgeonfish found in schools in rocky areas. It looks very similar to Prionurus punctuatus, but only had a few spots on his body. You do need a large tank to make sure this fish will thrive in your tank. However, it is a temperate water species. So it doesn’t do well in a tropical tank year round. But it is one of the few tangs you can add to a tank with other temperate water fishes.
Like other tangs, it will eat meaty foods, but it's important it can graze on algae/seaweed the entire day to ensure it will stay healthy. So feed flakes/pellets multiple times a day and make sure there is always seaweed available.
