Amtra Air System UPS

AMTRA AIR SYSTEM UPS is an extremely efficient and silent aquarium air pump that integrates the normal function with a very important LIFE-SAVING function for fish, shrimps, corals and plants. AMTRA AIR SYSTEM UPS is in fact capable of operating even in the absence of electricity thanks to the powerful lithium battery included. Thanks to the “standby” function, in the event of an electrical blackout, the pump will activate automatically preventing the risk of death of fishes, corals and filtering bacteria.
Electrical blackouts, especially during summer storms, are the main cause of the accidental collapse of aquariums, both in seawater and freshwater.
The absence of electricity causes the stop of water circulation and the consequent death of the filtering bacterial flora. In this situation oxygen is lacking and the accumulation of polluting elements accentuates the problem that causes asphyxiation among fish. Furthermore, the lack of water movement is lethal for corals in marine aquariums which, upon dying, can release very dangerous toxins for all the other animals present in the tank.

AMTRA AIR SYSTEM UPS prevents these dangers whether your aquarium needs an air pump in operation 24/24 h or that the air pump is installed only to prevent these situations:
– in the case of an air pump in operation 24/24 h when the power fails, the air pump will continue to function regularly, pumping air and therefore enriching the water with precious oxygen and generating water movement
– in the case of a tank in which the air pump is installed in “standby” mode, without the air pump running, the appliance will automatically and immediately activate when there is a power failure, therefore pumping air and to generate water flow inside the aquarium.

The air pump can also be used for the transport of fish: in addition to normal battery operation, it is equipped with a charging cable with standard USB connection so that it can be connected to a low voltage electrical source (for example in a car).
The “PULSE” function (in models with this button) allows the air pump to operate automatically for 10 seconds on and 10 seconds off, effectively doubling the battery charge duration.

AMTRA AIR SYSTEM UPS includes all the useful accessories for its installation: 4/6mm tube, check valve, fine air adjustment valve, Y fitting and bubble air stone. These accessories are “double” in the two outlet air pump models (the 120 and 360).
Double system of anti-vibration feet to minimize noise: internal between the motor and the plastic case and external in the 4 feet point.
