The interval control allows a wide range of settings - from seconds to daily. The reefdoser can take on a wide range of tasks: regular dosing of trace elements and fertilizers in sea and freshwater aquariums, addition of calcium and hydrogen carbonate in coral reef aquariums, addition of lime water, automatic feeding with living plankton.

The Reefdoser quadro consists of the electronic control unit and 4 dosing pumps SP 1500. Up to 1,500 ml / hour can be delivered per metering pump. The pump is connected with an aquarium air hose (internal diameter 4 mm). Depending on the dosed liquid, the chemical resistance of the hose must be observed. The Reefdoser allows a maximum of 4 dosing pumps to be controlled independently of each other. The pumps are switched on and off at adjustable intervals.

The Reefdoser does not work with real time, but with intervals. Two times must be set for each channel: the interval duration and the switch-on time. The interval duration indicates how often a process should be repeated. It is the sum of the switch-on time and the switch-off time. Example: Trace elements should be added every 12 hours for 10 minutes. The interval is then 12 hours and the switch-on time 10 minutes. The device then remains switched off for 11 hours and 50 minutes.
