Easyphyt Phytoplankton

Easyphyt is a culture medium developed by Easy Reefs for the culture of phytoplankton at small and medium scale.
Concentrated fertilizer for phytoplankton cultures.
Its formula is based on the classic Guillard F/2 is suitable for the culture of Tetraselmis, Nannochloropsis, Isochrysis and Rhodomonas, among others.

For the culture of diatoms, such as Phaeodactylum or Chaetoceros, the use of specific culture media rich in silicate is highly recommended.

Available in three sizes: 50ml, 250ml and 1500ml.

Ingredients: Sodium nitrate, iron chloride, EDTA sodium phosphate, zink sulfate, cobalt chloride, manganese chloride, sodium molybdate, copper sulfate, vitamins B1 and B12.

How to use:

Prepare a solution with 1 part of Easyphyt and 4 parts of water.
In cultures with periodic start (batch culture), use 5ml of the solution for each liter of culture.
In semi-continuous cultures, use 1ml per liter of water each time a partial harvest is made.
