Pure special salts from Fauna Marin
Our salts comply with pharmaceutical purity levels and are packaged accordingly. We do not only pay attention to the data sheet, but also control organic and inorganic trace elements as well as the effectiveness of the salts.
With Fauna Marin Balling-Light salts you get the purest special salts available for marine aquaristics. In our salts we additionally use bioactive stabilizers, pH buffers and special minerals, which significantly increase the stability of the chemical parameters in the aquariums. The added trace elements remain more stable in solution and are therefore more readily available to the corals.
By the use of our salt mixtures you supply minerals and trace elements, which are missing or only limited available. The addition of bioactive components and the purity of our salts prevent darkening of the corals and increase their growth and colour formation. Fauna Marin Balling salts are unique.

The Fauna Marin Balling Light System is a complete, self-contained system that can be used in conjunction with all common filter systems. It does not matter whether you use a zeolite system, the usual Berlin system or a natural filter system, e.g. sludge filtration. With the Balling-Light method you supply exactly those substances which are missing in the aquarium.

Dosage:
- The dosage of the prepared solution is approximately: 10 ml per 100 liters = +11 mg calcium per liter
- We recommend a calcium level of 400-440 mg/L - check the level using a drop water test or an ICP water analysis
- Start by adding magnesium, then calcium, and finally carbonate, leaving approximately 10 minutes between dosages

Dosage Instructions:
- Calcium mix is only added to Canister 1
- For the Balling Light Method to supply your marine aquarium, three canisters are prepared:
- Dissolve 2 kg of Balling Light CALCIUM MIX in 3 liters of RO (reverse osmosis) water
- Then add TRACE supplements:
Exact dosage amounts cannot be generally specified, as each aquarium is unique.
Please calculate your exact consumption using the Balling Light Calculator or the AquaCalculator, and then dose the quantities calculated specifically for your aquarium.

Storage Instructions:
- The product has a shelf life of approximately 3 years.
- Store it in a dry place, protected from light, at normal room temperature.
- Avoid contamination of the product with bacteria or dirt.
- Ensure that children do not have access to the used or stored products.
Product Information:
- Please note that this product is hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the environment. This may cause clumping. However, this change does not affect the quality or effectiveness of the product. You can continue to use the product as usual.
Disposal:
- The emptied container can be disposed of with household waste or at recycling collection points.
- Please observe your local waste disposal regulations.
