Hanna Checktemp 1 (HI-98509) is a compact food probe with a stainless steel sensor on a 1m flexible cable. Highly accurate it is designed to take fast response temperature measurements in semi-solids and liquids. The flexible silicone cable also makes this meter ideal for taking readings in hard to reach locations.

Featuring a water resistant casing and battery compartment both test to IP65, the latest model is ideal for use in food preparation and production including steamy kitchen environments and chilled storage.

The Checktemp 1 probe with a flexible silicone cable is a highly accurate, fast response thermometer. Pocket-sized and quick and easy to use, it I also packed with a range of powerful features.

• High accuracy: ±0.2 between -30°C and +120°C
• IP65 water resistant rating: ensures the product can be used in hot, steamy kitchens, cold storage and chiller cabinets and by kitchen staff with damp or wet hands.

• EN13485: Checktemp 1 is tested to and compliant with the European standard for food thermometers EN13485

• Electronics rated to -20°C: confirms the meter will continue to function accurately in conditions to -20°C
