Fully automatic fine filter for fresh and saltwater aquariums and ponds. 1 fleece filter roll for aquarium use is included.  The Rollermat removes contaminants from the aquarium water, which relieve the work biological filter and the protein skimmer. The result is clear water and healthier fish. The water is filtered through a fine fleece and it is automatically refreshed from a roll when it clogs up. The web of the filter is so fine that single-celled parasites such as Ichtyo can be stopped. As soon as a certain water level is reached (because the filter material becomes contaminated), a float switch will activate the drive motor to introduce a clean piece of filter material into the water. Depending on the dirt deposits on the filter material, a roller will last about 3-6 months before it needs to be replaced. The dirt is removed from the system before it is broken down and less nitrate and phosphate is produced. This relieves the biofilter and the skimmer in a saltwater aquarium. The roll can easily be removed from the filter and replaced with a new clean roll.
