A breathtaking, fleshy LPS coral admired for its vibrant, intense colors—from deep reds and emerald greens to shimmering metallic teals and stunning multi-color “rainbow” patterns. Its flowing, inflated tissue creates a dramatic, eye-catching centerpiece, perfect for any reef tank. Trachyphyllia thrives in gentle conditions on the sandbed.

Care in Aquariums:

• Lighting: Low to moderate; avoid very intense light to prevent stress
• Flow: Gentle; strong currents can damage delicate tissue
• Placement: Bottom of the tank, on a sandbed; allow space to expand and avoid contact with other corals
• Feeding: Target-feed small meaty foods (mysis, brine shrimp, or similar) 1–2× weekly.
